Heather Perring is engaged to provide independent resource consent processing services on behalf of Western Bay of Plenty District Council for a package of resource consent applications that cover three sites within Te Puna Business Park. This ongoing project has included representation in Environment Court, and in upcoming public notification hearings. The role also requires project management and coordination of all three sites/applications. One site is being jointly processed in collaboration with Bay of Plenty Regional Council.
This is a project with heavy workload and high complexity. As such it requires daily active project management, and a high level of communication both internally within Council, and with the three applicants. Heather works with a support team in Council to undertake key tasks such as summarizing submissions, filing and notification process. She has also had to work closely with legal counsel for the Environment Court and processing services.
